Experiencing morning sickness during pregnancy is normal. While it can feel unbearable, it typically goes away after 12 weeks. But when the nausea and vomiting become constant, you’re losing weight, and feeling dehydrated or light headed, then you must reach out to your provider immediately because you may have Hyperemesis Gravidarum. HG is caused by the rise in hormone levels when you are pregnant, but the cause beyond that is still unknown. I'm Pregnant, Morning Sickness During Pregnancy, Labor Nurse, Birthing Classes

It sounds like so little, yet it is a huge accomplishment. Never be negative about your cervical change. It is incredible, and each little change is monumental. Do you see how as the cervix opens, it also gets thinner? The thinning out is called effacement. Notice how at 1 cm is thick and closed. But at 10 cm, the cervix is thinned out and opened.
