Fundamentally, "Play-to-Earn" tokens (I'll use "Play Tokens" from here on) are digital tokens created to enable players to earn passive income for playing crypto-games. This promise is resolved through a multi-layered system where players achieve rewards for playing, and these rewards can be traded to other players, or even sold back to the company to earn a passive income.
