An early medieval knife. Suitably rustic with a forged iron blade. Both wooden handled and antler handled items are available. This is a sharp, practical item which can be used for a range of domestic tasks. Suitable for the early medieval period from about 900ad until the fourteenth century.
The Unicorn in Captivity (from The Unicorn Tapestries) 1495-1500 Metropolitan Museum of Art “The Unicorn in Captivity” may have been created as a single image rather than part of a series. In this instance, the unicorn probably represents the beloved tamed. He is tethered to a tree and constrained by a fence, but the chain is not secure and the fence is low enough to leap over: The unicorn could escape if he wished.
The Unicorn Defends Itself (from The Unicorn Tapestries) 1495-1455 The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Great Britain, UK 1819-1820 Storr, Paul, Edward Hodges Baily; Silver Containers for sauce such as this were, like the sauce they held, a French innovation. A typical dinner service might have four sauce tureens, although as many as ten might be required for the largest and grandest dinners. The ornate Rococo style of this tureen, with exuberant naturalistic acorn, oak leaf and shell decoration, and scrolled feet, was advanced taste at the time.
