This reclaimed wood coffee table is made from a salvaged Grain Silo Hatch (Lid) that was located near Salem, Oregon before being dismantled. This is truly a unique piece!. A part of Oregon history. There is a metal bar that runs under the table, that is the hatch handle.Its hinged and still moves freely. The wood has a beautiful deep rich patina and some worm hole tracks for character. A great little desk made out of repurposed wood from a pallet. Has amazing character and patina. Shows the rough life it probably has had, but cleaned up enough to make for a nice little desk. All surfaces sanded and polished nice, but not too much to remove the history of the wood.
