This design is for Cream/Crop by designer: Kevin Tran. The design and format are super sleek, clean, and has a simplistic touch. The images are laid out to have the viewer receive the information without any distractions. Beautiful imagery is a strong benefit and helps a lot to pull all the information together as a nice touch.
what i really liked about this magazine was the separation of the font, and the design work behind the font itself. I also really like the colors and the fact that there isn't a theme within color and only with layout within the magazine.
This is a journal in which uses the CRAP principles throughout the layout including the contrast between the title type and main body text. Repetiton can include the use of a header on top of every page, the black rule on top of pages containing type. The alignment of the text is mainly aligned to the left except for the front cover and photographic page spread. There's a good use of proximity and utilisation of white space making everything easily read.

What caught my attention in this info graphic is the huge bolded "3". We can use this idea to separate each grades or classes. For elementary to middle school, we can emphasize the grade in big bolded black numbers(1~8) and the classes in a grey(50% capacity)(A~D) so that we can put text over it. For high school, we dont have "classes" so just the numbers.
The bottom pages. Loving the differwent sized photography and different ways it's hung over the centre. The white frames rather photos taken out to the edges looks more profession and different - anyone can run an image off a page!
