Propaganda, like theories of media effects, is often thought of in the negative.However, there are examples where propagandist actions seem to be positively received, depending in part upon the purpose of producing the propaganda. For example, for spreading healthy lifestyle, anti-smoking campaigns, anti-discrimination ideas etc. These ype of propaganda can be great ways to plant a productive and beneficial in one's mind and make a better decision.
Being one of girl scouts gave me the most precious lesson throughout my teenage years. Especially, volunteering has given me more than just memories. I’ve learned and gained a lot through my community service experience. Girl Scouts has been rewarding because I’ve gained leadership skills, innovative thinking, and I’ve showcased my design talent on our many event fliers. Overall, both my abilities and attitude have been positively influenced by my Girl Scout experience.
I remember plainly the day I learned to ride a bike. After several attempts, my dad finally got me on the seat of the bike. That was the most scary yet exciting feeling ever. My feet were not touching the ground. I felt my toes tingle along with my fingertips.Dad was talking to me as he slowly pushes the bike while I was pedaling. A couple of tries of counting to three and letting go finally allowed me to ride it steadily and peacefully. I indeed mastered riding a bike in the end!
