Port Sunlight Village William Lever of Lever Brothers decided to build a village to house his employees. The idea to create quality affordable accommodation and tend to the needs of his workers , was modelled on a similar village called Bournville built by Cadbury's which was revolutionary compared to the squalor that most working people had at that time. This fountain and statue sits in the village close to the art gallery which is well worth a visit. #kelpie #portsunlight #liverpool Garden Sculpture, Lion Sculpture, Sculptures, Bournville, Instagram Accounts, Instagram Posts, Working People, Statues
