Ruby and diamond kokoshnik tiara. A grandson of Tsar Nicholas I gave Countess Sophie of Merenberg, Countess of Torby, the tiara made by Bolin as a wedding gift in 1891. This tiara is set in silver, 14k gold, and with 70 cabochon cut rubies, 822 old and rose cut diamonds. Bsides it is removable 6 parts, earrings, brooches and necklaces. The 'Cradle with Garlands' Faberge Egg ~ made in 1907 ~ for Czar Nicholas II to present to his Mother.  This egg was commissioned to celebrate the birth of Czarevich Alexei Nicholaievich, son of Czar Nicholas II ~ the long awaited heir to the Romanov throne.  The surprise inside was the first portrait of the Czarevich in a medallion surrounded by diamonds.  This egg is currently in a private collection.
