Student-led Word study anchor charts for consonant blends ( r blends, l blends, and s blends) Divide students into 4 groups and assign them a blend. As a team students should come up with as many words as possible that begin with their assigned blend. Call students back to whole group and each student gets to share their favorite word from the list their team created. Repeat activity for each anchor chart.
