This is the Coimbra-Filho’s titi (Callicebus coimbrai)! Also referred to more simply as Coimbra’s titi. Endemic to the coastal Atlantic forests of the states of Bahia and Sergipe in northeastern Brazil. Although arboreal, they eat and play on the ground while traveling from tree to tree. They live in monogamous family groups of 2-8 individuals, including offspring. Threatened by severe habitat conversion and fragmentation, resulting in a population of fewer than 2,500 individuals.
