Welcome to San'in! This is Matsue, Shimane. Miho Shrine is a quiet little collection of traditional buildings quite literally across the street from a small bay on the Sea of Japan. Nestled at the center of a fishing village, it's no surprise that this shrine is dedicated to the god Ebisu, a jolly god known to carry a fishing rod and grant luck to Japan's fishermen.
