Paul Getty Museum, Los Angeles - Because of this piece's blue and white colouring, the curators believe it was made for the Trianon de Porcelaine, which was built by King Louis XIV for his then-mistress, Madame de Montespan, on the grounds of Versailles and shared a similar colour scheme.
