You’re also allowed to ASK to see the salaries of comparable positions at the company you work! This is huge because as a female (personally) I was able to see that others (who happened to be male) were making more for doing the same work. This is discrimination and I had a clear case for a raise. Just don’t ask to see someone’s specific salary i.e. “I’d like to see how much Harry makes” this isn’t allowed.
