Very nice cup and saucer from Royal Albert Pale yellow with matte black and the outside of the teacup is white, base of the teacup and thumbrest are gilt. The backstamp date this tea cup to 1925-1927 Cup Measures: 2 1/2 " high & Saucer Measures 5 5/8" diameter Good conditon, no chips, no cracks.

Lalique Vase - Lalique glass is lead based, either mold blown or pressed. Favored motifs during the Art Nouveau period were dancing nymphs, fish, dragonflies, and foliage. Characteristically the glass is crystal in combination with acid-etched relief. Later some items were made in as many as ten colors (red, amber, and green among them) and were occasionally accented with enameling.

The vase is composed of two parts. The upper part is of shaped oval cross section and tapers from a flared, undulating rim to a much narrower base pierced with holes that fits into a shaped oval stand. The stand rests on four feet and has four cartouche-shaped openings in the shoulder. The vase is decorated with a pink (rose) ground over which blue enamel has been applied and then scraped away to create a pattern of C-and S-scrolls and asymmetrical cartouches.
