A diagram shows appropriate distances and heights of items in the kitchen of an adaptable house. There should be at least 1550 millimetres between wall units and an island bench or adjoining bench space. Wall units should be a maximum of 600 millimetres deep. A stove should be a minimum of 800 millimetres wide.
