A very dynamic magazine page with so many great techniques beginning with a tall sidebar featuring Bill Cosby with align-right justification with the text in color. Align-left text, creating a ragged-right edge, distinguishes the page's main module. Thanks to careful planning by the designer, the page has strong vertical and horizontal movement. A modular grid layout for a magazine. Good use of hierarchy and the composition is interesting also. Although theres a lot of information it doesn't seem too overcrowded and I think theres a good balance of image and text. The sans-serif, all-cap "GETAWAYS" contrasts "Spring," which employs an italic, serif font. A flexible grid allows each of the three text presentations to displayed in different column widths.
