Pecos National Historical Park
The next morning we hiked through the old ruins at Pecos National Monument. The village of the Pecos people (the monument) sits high on a grassy hill between two rivers. The village was once used as the main trading area between the Pueblo farmers and the hunting tribes from the buffalo plains.
