Play Kitchen DIY Makeover
Collection by Mummy made it me ♡
Giving an old wooden play kitchen a new lease of life!
Let's have a look what we can cook!
MasterChef in action ...
Add a little bit of this ...
Just need to add some handles, but somebody couldn't wait to use it anyway.
Fully stocked cupboard
Fully stocked fridge
Fully stocked fridge. I painted the fridge shelf the same as the oven.
Oven shelf re-painted and light affixed to the roof of the oven, just need to add some handles.
Microwave and Oven lights £1.69 from Ikea - Push on/off ones - stuck with a sticky pad to the roof of each.
Nearly finished .. just need to find the right handles for the cupboards.
Still no handles attached but they couldn't wait. So pleased with the outcome :0)
It's getting there ..
Oven knobs were took off and re-sprayed. Grandad made some new wooden circles for the backs of them as the old ones got damaged as I took them off. These were painted and stuck back on with the glue gun.
New wooden hob rings (made by grandad!) painted and affixed using a glue gun. Replacement Perspex purchased from ebay, cut to size and re-attached to the oven and microwave window. Doors also put back on.
Play kitchen oven light attached (push on/off from ikea £1.69) Interior cupboard magnets re-painted and attached back on.
I didn't want to put the old wooden play tap back so I managed to get an old tap from a friends father in law who is a plumber. I took the little plastic cap off the top (which was blue - for cold) and re-sprayed it cream and affixed it back on. I cleaned the tap up and think it looks fab!
