1960s- During the Vietnam War, the United States were faced with two opponents, the NVA and the Viet Cong (South Vietnamese Communist). This is a picture of a solider of the Viet Cong. It is important because it shows their clothing, which was similar to the common citizens making it hard to identify the enemy.
