They'll work together to create this foldable that labels, explains, and shows the water cycle. It is just a regular sheet of cardstock or copy paper folded at 2 3/4" from both ends. This brings the flaps together at the center of the page. The flaps are cut at 4…

I love this hallway display I ran across at one of our schools (to be honest it is the hair on Nina Simone). After looking at it several times I actually thought it was pretty clever. Here is a hallway display that can be left up for literally two months. It can be left up for February (which was when it was made) for Black History Month and then for March for Women's History Month. I might just change out the title of the board to keep it current. If you have friends (like I do) that…

Redirecting

We are pretty much done with our earth science unit, but I just hadn't taken the time to upload these pictures. I'm not a big fan of the science experiments in the book, but thankfully Pinterest has some great ideas! :) When learning about metamorphic rock, I came across this idea from Adventures of Ms. Smith. She used Starbursts to make rock. We tried, and it worked perfectly! There were a bunch of edible ideas for sedimentary rock, but I didn't want to get my kiddos too sugared up! (After…
