Ways to incorporate music/songs into English classroom -- there's one GENIUS idea here: have students select a "soundtrack" to go with a book! They pick 3 or so songs and analyze the lyrics for meaning, then support their choices....wow!! Great assignment.

Lesson plan focusing on how to use author's imagery to visualize. Teaching students to picture what they read. Creating mental pictures in the reader's mind using author's imagery.
