Julia Reed, contributor to the southern lifestyle magazine “Garden and Gun,” shared with NPR her recipe for the WORLD’S GREATEST EGGNOG. Here it is, folks: Mix 4 cups bourbon and 2¼ cups sugar in a bowl. Let them sit for a bit. Beat 12 large egg yolks until they get ugly. Fold those into the bourbon and let that chill for a couple hours. Beat 8 cups whipping cream until stiff and fold that in, letting it all cool again for an hour or so. Enjoy!
