Boxes from the Target Dollar Spot" or the Dollar store covered with polka dot scrapbook paper and attached to white board with magnetic clips. They hold remotes, chart markers, dry erase markers, erasers, and board clips.

My no-sew easy to move "safety-curtain" for my classroom door. It is a dowel rod and command hooks spray painted with oil rubbed bronze and drawer pulls hot glued to the ends. A no-sew curtain long enough to cover the door and then some is draped over the rod so the pattern shows from the outside too. Then I rolled up the material and then used Velcro to attach the ribbons. Now I can quickly cover my classroom door window if needed.

Snowball Fight...kids write 3 things about themselves on a sheet of white paper. They do not write their names on the paper. Wad it up and on your command, have a "snowball" (or baseball) fight. At the end of 1 minute, each student grabs the nearest snowball and tries to guess who wrote it. Would be great at the beginning of the year!
