Marie Antoinette 1755-1793 (court dress) by Lady Finavon.  Marie Antoinette was born November 2nd, 1755 in Vienna. She was one of sixteen children of Maria Theresa, archduchess of Austria and Queen of Hungary and Bohemia, and the Holy Roman Emperor, Francis I. In 1770, at 14, she traveled to the French palace of Versailles to be married. Four years later she became Queen of France when her husband was crowned Louis XVI.
