kappa alpha theta
Two Kappa Delta dance cards from 1949 (left) and 1951 (right). Dance cards are small booklets used to record a woman's dance partners during the 19th and early 20th centuries. They typically have long strings so they could be worn around a woman's wrist, and when a man asked for a dance, his name would be written in the book. Kappa Delta chapters used dance cards for several decades!
