Creating a channel brand identity with universal appeal - ManvsMachine UK. We designed a bold, flexible logo that would constantly morph through a series of flips, folds and reveals. The Australian Design Centre (ADC) has been one of Australia’s leading arts  and design institutions for the last 50 years. With a bold new brand,  strategy and purpose, Interbrand Australia helped ADC discover what’s most  important to them.

The Australian Design Centre (ADC) has been one of Australia’s leading arts and design institutions for the last 50 years. With a bold new brand, strategy and purpose, Interbrand Australia helped ADC discover what’s most important to them.

‘If’ is a wonderful insight into the mind and imagination of a young boy. Rudyard Kipling’s original poem ‘If’ is a tribute to many of humankind’s greatest virtues and is one of Britain’s most popular poems. It was re-imagined by Orson, then aged 8 – who almost dismissively, dropped a booklet he had secretly illustrated into his fathers hands.

We re-imagined Orson’s original drawings and story into a fully illustrated picture book, as well as a hand pulled 3 colour letterpress printed poster. Our aim was to keep as much of the story’s essence, while giving the illustrations a new life.

Australian Design Centre (ADC) — Stand Apart.  The design effectively tells the idea of this system through a simple design of sharp colours and minimal typography. Since its about creativity, discovery, and play, the graphic gives a playful, colourful feeling.
