Collage of Soose's current blue bedroom walls, new oak flooring and mahogany furniture. (Also, a white slip-covered Ikea armchair I'm thinking about putting in there to help cut down the percent of blue, and our current duvet cover from Ikea which doesn't match anything else we have.) I have 2 queen anne end tables but they are one-drawer and not very functional, so thinking of replacing them with a couple of other items in the house as shown.
Looking at the "Shabby Chic" pin down amongst the color palettes on this board ( http://www.pinterest.com/pin/469007748666501978/ ), with the right painting behind the bed, might be able to use a teal and blue duvet color and the brights I like for accent colors. Mahogany -- or teal/cerulean bedside tables? Moving Monet print (Giverny) to a side wall so it's more an accent instead of focal point.
