Late 19th to early 20th century American Men's shoes at the Museum of Fine Art, Boston - Wait a second...aren't these awfully old-fashioned for the turn of the century? That's what I thought at first. Turns out, though, that these were made as part of a fancy dress costume depicting a man from the 17th century - and now it all makes sense.
