From where my picture was taken its another 169 steps to the actual lookout, you can just see the structure in the top left side of my shot. Discovered by John Flores, "Follow the Coast Trail to reach the Alamere Falls, a waterfall which jets down onto the beach. The hike from the parking lot and back takes 4 hours. Again, the Alamere Falls trail is unmaintained and the area is filled with Poison Oak, so I'd advise wearing long sleeves.
